Double Visions would make a nice addition to both a horror collection and a poetry collection in a public library. Individual short stories and collections are easily portable in all formats (print, ebook reader, smartphone, iPad). I've actually read some of his short stories, and they were fun, but I'm not going to buy the books for one simple reason: I never finish short story anthologies. This is the volume that gave us Nathan Ballingrud's "North American Lake Monsters," along with a bizarre prison story by Paul McAuley and Kim Newman.
